Go ahead and Google this subject. Then, you will understand my example. Critical thinking skills are used daily by millions of people. In a Court of Law, Judge, Jury and bystanders all hear arguments for the Prosecution and Defense. All parties must review the material and dissect each point argued before the Court. Only through Critical Thinking can they reach a verdict, as there is always a "sway factor" with each argument, or statement.
Advertisements are another example. Do you believe all that you read, or do you automatically purchase anything that is touted to be the BEST of it’s kind? The answer is no, as we automatically and subconsciously use those skills to determine the truth. So, go and Google it for better clarification and the proper definition.
